A Case report of Verruca Plana

Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives：The purpose of this study was to inform the effectiveness of Sa-Am acupucture tonifying small intestine meridian (So-Jang-Jeong-Gyeok) on verruca plana of Crohn`s disease patient.
Methods：The patient was treated with Sa-Am acupuncture totally 10 times with the frequency of twice a week. The effectiveness was evaluated using harvey-Bradshaw index and the status of surface such as skin color and size of prominentia of the verruca plana.
Results：The status of surface has become clearer markedly than before acupuncture.
Conclusions：Sa-Am acupuncture of So-Jang-Jeong-Gyeok can be a useful treatment for the verruca plana of Crohn`s disease patient.
